I noticed that Optimized.org launched. Beyond some introductory guides to SEO, the site is dedicating itself to SEO companies that special in a certain industry, like automotive, real estate and loans. There are some recommending search marketing providers, and you can apply to be recommended (which does mean offering client contact information so they can make the best recommendation to their readers). If you’re one of those SEO consultants that works with one type of business, getting recommended here may be a great way to go to help your reputation in the industry. They ask for 5 clients to contact, so get them ready.
I guess by asking for 5 clients they can make sure, at the least, that you have a history and experience in the field. If you have 5 clients willing to speak for you, you probably have a large number overall since many don’t want to give testimonials.
The guides, including link building, copywriting, and creating linkbait are pretty basic at this point, but they claim that more in-depth tutorials will be added. It also looks like if your firm specializes in one aspect of SEO (like the items in the guides) that you can apply to be recommended within those guides. You can also suggest a new industry for them to track.
